Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Order)
Section 1(1) of the Judicial Committee Amendment Act 1895 provides that, if any person being or having been Chief Justice or a judge of the supreme court or of a superior court of certain of Her Majesty’s Dominions specified in the said Act, or of any other superior court in Her Majesty’s Dominions named in that behalf by Her Majesty in Council, is a member of Her Majesty’s Privy Council, he shall be a member of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. This Order names the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court as a superior court for the purposes of the said Act.
