The Street Works (Reinstatement) (Amendment) Regulations 1992

These Regulations may be cited as the Street Works (Reinstatement) (Amendment) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 1st January 1993.

(a)
“(c)
'the Code' means the Code of Practice entitled “Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways”dated June 1992, and approved by the Secretary of State on 30th June 1992 as revised or reissued for time to time”;
(b)
the words “per annum”occurring at the end of paragraph (c) shall be deleted;
(c)
“(f)
'standard axle' means an axle which exerts a force of 80 Kilo Newtons.”

These Regulations correct defects in the definitions of “the Code”and “a road carrying more than 30 million standard axles”in the Street Works (Reinstatement) Regulations 1992 (S.I. 1992/1689) and add a definition of “standard axles”.
