The Friendly Societies Act 1992 (Commencement No.2) Order 1992

3.  Where a dispute to which section 10(1) of the National Savings Bank Act 1981 applies was referred to the Registrar before 1 January 1993 or where a dispute to which section 5(1) of the National Debt Act 1972 applies was referred to the Chief Regsitrar of friendly societies or a deputy appointed by him or to the assistant registrar of friendly societies for Scotland, before 1st January 1993 that dispute shall be treated as if it had been referred to the adjudicator appointed under section 84 of the Friendly Societies Act 1992 and any thing done in relation to such a dispute by the Registrar or the Chief Registrar, any deputy appointed by him or the assistant registrar of friendly societies for Scotland shall be treated as a thing done by the adjudicator.
