4. Section 228 of the 1985 Act(1) is amended ny inserting at the end of subsection (2)(b) the words “(where applicable as modified by the provisions of the Bank Accounts Directive 86/635/EEC))”.
Section 228 was inserted by section 5 of the Companies Act 1989.
