1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Education (National Curriculum)(Attainment Target and Programmes of Study in Physical Education) Order1992 and shall come into force in accordance with articles 2 to 6.
(2) In this Order—
“the Document” means the document published by Her Majesty’s Stationery Office entitled “Physical Education in the National Curriculum” (1); and
references to the first, second, third and fourth key stages are references to the periods set out in paragraphs (a) to (d) respectively of section 3(3) of the Education Reform Act 1988.
