3. These Regulations shall not apply in relation to any work where, before 1st June 1992, an initial notice has been given to and accepted by a local authority, and, whilst such a notice continues in force, the Building (Approved Inspectors etc.) Regulations 1985 shall continue to apply as if these Regulations had not been made.
