In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by sections 101(4A) and (5A) and 142(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(1) and after consultation with representative organisations as required by section 134(2) of that Act, I hereby make the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Removal, Storage and Disposal of Vehicles (Prescribed Sums and Charges etc.) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 5th July 1993.
2. The Removal, Storage and Disposal of Vehicles (Prescribed Sums and Charges etc.) Regulations 1989(2) shall be amended as follows—
(a)In regulation 3(1) after the words “section 101(4)”, there shall be added the words “and (4A)(b)(ii)”; and
(b)In regulation 3(2) after the words “section 101(5)”, there shall be added the words “and (5A)(b)(ii)”.

These Regulations amend the Removal, Storage and Disposal of Vehicles (Prescribed Sums and Charges etc.) Regulations 1989 to prescribe fees for the removal, storage and disposal of vehicles found inside Greater London pursuant to section 101(4A)(b)(ii) and (5A)(b)(ii) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Subsections (4A) and (5A) were added to section 101 by section 67 of the Road Traffic Act 1991 to make separate provision for vehicles found inside and outside London. The effect of these Regulations is to continue the current level of fees.
