Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 89(3) and (4)(b), 105(1), (2)(a), (3) and (4), 108(1)1, and 192(1)2 of the Road Traffic Act 19883, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 195(2) of that Act, and with the approval of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Regulations:

These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Large Goods and Passenger-Carrying Vehicles) (Amendment) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 16th July 1993.

The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Large Goods and Passenger-Carrying Vehicles) Regulations 19904 shall be amended in accordance with the following provision of this regulation.

In paragraph (2) of regulation 15 (Applications for tests) for sub-paragraphs (a) and (b) there shall be substituted the following sub-paragraphs—
a
in respect of a test to be conducted on a day other than a Saturday—
i
£55.50 if the application for the test is made before 16th July 1993, and
ii
£60 if the application is made on or after that date;
b
in respect of a test to be conducted on a Saturday—
i
£75 if the application for the test is made before 16th July 1993, and
ii
£77.50 if the application is made on or after that date.
