Provision of background information relating to schools to the Secretary of State
7. The governing body of every maintained secondary school and the proprietor of every non-maintained special school and the proprietor of every independent school shall, within two weeks of receiving a written request from the Secretary of State, provide him with such background information relating to the school as is referred to in Part VI of Schedule 1.
