This Part of these Regulations applies to a society to which section 48 of the 1992 Act applies.

Subject to regulation 50 below, a society which is–
a
an incorporated friendly society, or
b
an authorised registered friendly society,
is prescribed for the purposes of section 48(1)(c) of the 1992 Act.
