These Regulations amend the Rules of the Air Regulations 1991. The changes are:The definition of “apron” and “manoeuvring areas” are deleted (Regulation 2(1)). These definitions now appear in an unchanged form in the Air Navigation Order 1989 as amended.For the avoidance of doubt it is provided that the meaning of “simulated instrument flight” in Rule 7 is the same as that in Rule 6 (Regulation 2(2)).
