Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order designates the whole of the London boroughs of Camden, Hackney and Hounslow, excluding the roads and areas referred to in Schedules 1, 2 and 3 respectively, as special parking areas for the purposes of Part II of the Road Traffic Act 1991 with effect from 6th December 1993. The roads in the London borough of Hounslow referred to in Part III of Schedule 3 become a special parking area with effect from 9th January 1994. The Order also makes consequential modifications to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and to Part II of the 1991 Act.
