The Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Fees) Order 1993
Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Fees) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 1st April 1994.
Fees payable2.
The fees payable in England and Wales under each of the enactments specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this Order in respect of the matters specified in column 3 shall be the fees specified in relation thereto in column 4 and each of those enactments shall have effect accordingly.

This Order specifies the fees payable for the year beginning 1st April 1994 under the Acts relating to the registration of births, deaths and marriages and associated matters.
The fees increased are those payable under sections 27(6), 51(1) and 57(4) of the Marriage Act 1949.
Otherwise the fees payable from 1st April 1994 are the same as those payable from 1st April 1993.
This Order imposes no costs on business.
