17.—(1) A person who appears in a summary application shall not be entitled to state any objection to the regularity of the execution of citation, service or intimation on him; and his appearance shall remedy any defect in such citation, service or intimation.
(2) Nothing in paragraph (1) shall preclude a party from pleading that the court has no jurisdiction.
