Transfers between Cheshire (Warrington) and Greater Manchester (Wigan)
3.—(1) The area which is marked B on map 4 shall be transferred from Cheshire, from Warrington, and from the parish of Culcheth and Glazebury to–
(a)Greater Manchester;
(b)Wigan;
(c)the Hope Carr ward; and to
(d)the Leigh petty sessional division and the Greater Manchester West coroner’s district–
and shall become unparished.
(2) Each unparished area which is marked as shown in column 1 of the following Table on map 4 shall be transferred from Greater Manchester, from Wigan and from the ward named in column 2 to–
(a)Cheshire;
(b)Warrington;
(c)the parish mentioned in column 3;
(d)the Culcheth Glazebury and Croft ward, and the Culcheth and Southworth electoral division; and to
(e)the Warrington petty sessional division and the Cheshire coroner’s district.
