4. At the end of Rule 3 there shall be added the following paragraph:
“(6) Every fishing vessel to which these Rules apply shall on and after 30th April 1994 be provided, in addition to the radiotelephone required by paragraphs (2) to (4) above, with a VHF radiotelephone installation which shall include a transmitter and receiver. This equipment, if fitted on or after 30th April 1994, shall conform to the performance standard specified in Merchant Shipping Notice No. M 928.”.
