Supply of goods to Haiti

6.—(1) Except under the authority of a licence granted under this article or the 1993 Order—

(a)in the case of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, by the Lieutenant Governor;

(b)in the case of the Bailiwick of Jersey, by the Finance and Economics Committee,

no person mentioned in article 11 shall—

(i)supply or deliver;

(ii)agree to supply or deliver; or

(iii)do any act calculated to promote the supply or delivery of,

any goods other than foodstuffs, or goods which that person has reason to believe are intended to be used for medical purposes to or to the order of a person connected with Haiti.

(2) Nothing in paragraph (1)(ii) or (iii) above shall apply where the supply or delivery of the goods to the person concerned is authorised by a licence granted under this article or article 7 or under the 1993 Order.
