The repeal of section 8 of the Railways Act 1974 shall not affect the operation of that section in relation to any application for grant made pursuant to that section before 15th July 1994 but in respect of which no decision has been made by the Secretary of State before that date.

The repeal of section 36 of the Transport Act 1981 shall not affect the operation of that section in relation to any application for grant made pursuant to that section before 15th July 1994 but in respect of which no decision has been made by the Secretary of State before that date.
