The Environmentally Sensitive Areas Designation (Radnor) (Welsh Language Provisions) Order 1994

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

The Secretary of State for Wales has made an Order, namely the Environmentally Sensitive Areas (Radnor) Designation Order 1993, which designated an area in the District of Radnorshire in the County of Powys as an environmentally sensitive area. That Order–

(i) specifies requirements (“the requirements”) as to agricultural practices, methods and operations and the installation and use of equipment which must be included in an agreement entered into by the Secretary of State under section 18(3) of the Agriculture Act 1986,

(ii) specifies additional provisions and conservation plan operations which may be included in such an agreement, and

(iii) contains definitions (“definitions”) of terms to be used in such require– ments, additional provisions and conservation plan operations.

This Order prescribes separate forms of words in Welsh for use in place of the requirements, additional provisions, conservation plan operations and definitions already specified in the English language.

Mae Ysgrifennydd Gwladol Cymru wedi gwneud Gorchymyn, sef Gorchymyn Dynodi Ardaloedd Amgylchedd Arbennig (Maesyfed) 1993 a ddynododd ardal yn Nosbarth Maesyfed yn Sir Powys yn ardal amgylchedd arbennig. Mae'r Gorchymyn hwnnw–

(i) yn pennu gofynion (“y gofynion”) o ran arferion, dulliau a gweithrediadau amaethyddol a gosod a defnyddio offer y mae'n rhaid eu cynnwys mewn cytundeb a wneir gan yr Ysgrifennydd Gwladol o dan adran 18(3) Deddf Amaethyddiaeth 1986,

(ii) yn pennu darpariaethau ychwanegol a gweithrediadau cynllun cadwraeth y gellir eu cynnwys yn y cyfryw gytundeb, a

(iii) yn cynnwys diffiniadau (“diffiniadau”) o dermau sydd i'w defnyddio yn y cyfryw ofynion, darpariaethau ychwanegol a gweithrediadau cynllun cadwraeth.

Mae'r Gorchymyn hwn yn pennu ffurfiau ar wahân o eiriau yn Gymraeg i'w defnyddio yn lle'r gofynion, y darpariaethau ychwanegol, y gweithrediadau cynllun cadwraeth a'r diffiniadau a bennwyd eisoes yn Saesneg.
