Amendment of regulation 8 of the principal Regulations
2. For sub-paragraph (a) of regulation 8(2) of the principal Regulations (pack size on retail sale or supply of certain medicinal products on a general sale list) there shall be substituted the following sub-paragraph—
“(a)in the case of effervescent tablets—
(i)which do not contain aspirin, or where the amount of aspirin in each tablet does not exceed 325 milligrams, not more than 30 tablets;
(ii)where the amount of aspirin in each tablet exceeds 325 milligrams, but does not exceed 500 milligrams, not more than 20 tablets.”.
