Citation and interpretation

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Friendly Societies Act 1992 (Commencement No. 8) Order 1994.

(2) In this Order—

“the 1923 Act” means the Industrial Assurance Act 1923(1);

“the 1979 Order” means the Industrial Assurance (Northern Ireland) Order 1979(2);

“the 1992 Act” means the Friendly Societies Act 1992;
