Application of provisions of this PartE+W

47.—(1) The requirements of–

(a)regulations 48 and 49 (requirement to consider effect on European sites [F1in Great Britain and European offshore marine sites]), and

(b)regulations 50 and 51 (requirement to review certain existing decisions and consents, &c.),

apply, subject to and in accordance with the provisions of regulations 54 to 85, in relation to the matters specified in those provisions.

(2) Supplementary provision is made by–

(a)regulation 52 (co–ordination where more than one competent authority involved), and

(b)regulation 53 (compensatory measures where plan or project is agreed to notwithstanding a negative assessment of the implications for a European site [F2in Great Britain or European offshore marine site]).

[F3(3) Nothing in these Regulations requires an appropriate assessment of any plan or project to be carried out on or in any part of the waters or on or in any part of the seabed or subsoil comprising the offshore marine area, or on or in relation to an offshore marine installation.]

[F6(a)]subject to and in accordance with the provisions of regulations [F753A] to 85, in relation to the matters specified in those provisions [F8, and

(b)in relation to all other plans and projects.]

(2) Supplementary provision is made by–

(a)regulation 52 (co–ordination where more than one competent authority involved), and
