[F1Notification to appropriate nature conservation bodyE+W+S
12.—(1) The Secretary of State shall notify the appropriate nature conservation body as soon as may be [F2after—
(a)a site becomes a European site;
(b)the specification of a European site is amended;
(c)a site ceases to fall within any of the categories listed in regulation 11(2).]
[F3(2) Except where arrangements are made authorising the appropriate conservation body to establish and maintain the register, the notification under paragraph (1) of a site becoming a European site must be accompanied by a copy of the register entry.]
[F4(3) Except where arrangements are made authorising the appropriate conservation body to establish and maintain the register, the notification under paragraph (1) of the amendment of the specification of a European site must be accompanied by a copy of the amended entry.]
(4) Each nature conservation body shall keep copies of the register entries relating to European sites in their area available for public inspection at all reasonable hours and free of charge.]
