3. For the purposes of section 118(1) of the Education Act 1993 the initial articles of government for each school in a group shall be in accordance with those required (under any regulations(1) in force at the time of incorporation of that group) for a grant-maintained school, or, as the case may be, a grant-maintained special school, and for those purposes—
(a)any references to the staff committee are to the committee established under the instrument of government for the group, and
(b)any duty to prepare an annual report to parents and to hold an annual parents' meeting shall be performed by the governing body separately in relation to each school in the group.
