These Regulations—amend regulations 19 and 19A of the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations 1987 so as to increase, for test applications made on or after 1st April 1994, the fees for ordinary driving tests and London taxi drivers' tests and some of the fees for extended driving tests ordered by the court under section 36 of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988; andamend regulation 21 of those Regulations so as to require a test candidate to make a signed declaration, before taking the test, that the vehicle in which the test is to be taken meets the insurance requirements of part VI of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
