Article 5
1. Functions conferred by or under any of the following provisions of the Act:
(a)section 26(2) (prohibition on registration of certain names except with the approval of the Secretary of State);
(b)section 244(5) (extension by Secretary of State of the period allowed for laying and delivering accounts and reports); and
(c)section 702(5) (extension by Secretary of State of period for delivering accounts and reports of an oversea company).
2. Functions conferred by or under section 2 of the Business Names Act 1985(1) (prohibition of use of certain business names).
3. Functions conferred by or under section 2 of the Business Names Act 1985 as applied to EEIGs by regulation 17 of the Regulations (application of Business Names Act 1985).
