Article 2
1. Any reference to an enactment shall be construed, unless the contrary intention appears, as a reference to that enactment as it has effect in the Isle of Man.
2. In section 3, for “United Kingdom” in each place where it occurs there is substituted “Isle of Man”.
3. In section 17, for “any place in the United Kingdom” there is substituted “the Isle ofMan”.
4. In section 20, for “indictment” there is substituted “information”.
5. In sections 21, 22, 23 and 24, for “any part of the United Kingdom” and “that part”, in each place where either expression occurs, there is substituted “the Isle of Man”.
6. For section 28 there is substituted the following section:
Proceedings for an offence under this Act shall not be instituted in the Isle of Man except by or with the consent of the Attorney General for the Isle ofMan.”.
7. In section 31(1), in the definition of “United Kingdom national”, for paragraph (e) there is substituted:
“(e)a body incorporated under the law of the Isle of Man;”.
8. In section 32, subsection (3) isomitted.
9. In the Schedule, the entries relating to the Antarctic Minerals Act 1989(1) and the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1990(2) are omitted.
