Citation and Commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority (Increase in Number of Members) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 19th July 1995.
Increase in number of members of the authority2.
The number of members of the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority specified in the fourth column of Part II of Schedule 10 to the Local Government Act 1985 shall be altered from “2” to “3” in respect of Rochdale, from “3” to “4” in respect of Stockport and from “3” to “4” in respect of Wigan.

This Order alters the composition of the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority. From 19th July 1995, the number of members appointed by the Metropolitan District Councils of Rochdale, Stockport and Wigan is to be increased from 2 to 3 in the case of Rochdale and from 3 to 4 in the cases of Stockport and Wigan.
