Section 187(4) of the Act shall apply to the competent authority in the discharge or purported discharge of its functions under these Regulations as it applies to it in the discharge or purported discharge of its functions under Part IV of the Act.

Section 188 of the Act shall apply to proceedings arising out of any act or omission (or proposed act or omission) of the competent authority in the discharge or purported discharge of any function under regulation 11 as it applies to the proceedings mentioned in that section.

Section 192 of the Act shall apply to a person designated under regulation 19 in respect of any action which he proposes to take or has power to take by virtue of being so designated.

Section 199 of the Act shall apply in relation to an offence under these Regulations as it applies in relation to the offences mentioned in that section.

Subsections (1) and (5) of section 200 of the Act shall apply to applications under these Regulations as they apply to applications under the Act, and to requirements imposed on a person by or under these Regulations as they apply to requirements imposed on a person by or under the Act.

Sections 201(1), 202 and 203 of the Act shall apply to offences under these Regulations as they apply to offences under the Act.
