The Dŵr Cymru Cyfyngedig (Pipelaying and Other Works) (Code of Practice) Order 1995

Whereas Dŵr Cymru Cyfyngedig holds an appointment under Chapter I of Part II of the Water Industry Act 19911 as a water undertaker ( “the Company”):
And whereas the company has, pursuant to section 182(1)(a) of that Act, submitted to the Secretary of State for his approval a Code of Practice2 with respect to the exercise by the Company of powers conferred by or by virtue of sections 159 and 161(2) of that Act ( “the Code of Practice”):

And whereas the Secretary of State considers it appropriate to approve the Code of Practice for the purpose of promoting what appears to him to be desirable practices with regard to the exercise by the Company of those powers:

Now, therefore the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers under section 182(2) of the Water Industry Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after consulting all such persons as he considers it appropriate to consult, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation1.

This Order may be cited as the Dŵr Cymru Cyfyngedig (Pipelaying and Other Works) (Code of Practice) Order 1995.

Code of Practice2.

The Code of Practice prepared by the Company and certified as such by the Secretary of State is hereby approved.
