Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 19801, and now vested in him2, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf:—

This Order may be cited as the A11 Trunk Road (Thetford Bypass Slip Roads) (Trunking) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 1st February 1995.

In this Order, all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway.

The highways described in the Schedule to this Order shall each become a trunk road from the date when this Order comes into force.

The centre line of each of the new trunk roads is indicated by a heavy black line on the site plan in the folio numbered HA10/2E/353, marked “The A11 Trunk Road (Thetford Bypass Slip Roads) (Trunking) Order 1995”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at the Highways Agency, St Christopher House, Southwark Street, London SE1 0TE.

THE SCHEDULELENGTHS OF HIGHWAY BECOMING TRUNK ROAD

The highways becoming trunk roads are:

the slip road connecting the westbound carriageway of the A11 Thetford Bypass with Croxton Road; and

2

the slip road connecting the eastbound carriageway of the A11 Thetford Bypass with Croxton Road.
