The following provisions of the Antarctic Act 1994 shall come into force on 1st November 1995—

• Sections 1 and 2

• Sections 8 to 32

• Section 33, except in respect of the repeal of Sections 6, 7(2)(b) and (7), 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the Antarctic Treaty Act 19672.

• Sections 34 to 36.
