21.—(1) The 1992 Regulations are hereby revoked.
(2) Anything done under or for the purposes of a provision of the 1992 Regulations has effect, if it could have been done under or for the purposes of the corresponding provision of these Regulations, as if done under or for the purposes of that corresponding provision.
(3) Without prejudice to the provisions of section 16 of the Interpretation Act 1978(1) the revocation of the 1992 Regulations shall not affect any obligation of the Secretary of State to pay any pension pursuant to the 1992 Regulations to or in respect of a person who retired or died before 1st December 1995.
(4) In relation to any pension payable to a dependant pursuant to any provision of these Regulations in respect of a participator who was employed in pensionable employment but ceased to be so employed or died before 1st December 1995 the expression “child” in these Regulations shall be construed as if regulation E21 of the Superannuation Regulations had not been amended by regulation 12 of the Teachers' Superannuation (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1994(2).
