The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, having regard to changes in the areas and functions of health authorities arising out of the abolition of Parkside District and the determination of Kensington Chelsea and Westminster District and Brent and Harrow District(2), having consulted the Kensington Chelsea and Westminster Health Authority and the Brent and Harrow Health Authority in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Brent and Harrow Health Authority (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 9th March 1995.

(2) In this Order—

“the first Authority” means the Kensington Chelsea and Westminster Health Authority;

“the second Authority” means the Brent and Harrow Health Authority;

“the trust property” means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the first Authority and the second Authority on 17th January 1994, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both the first Authority and the second Authority.

Transfer of trust property

2.  On 9th March 1995 the trust property shall be transferred from the first Authority to the second Authority.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order transfers to the Brent and Harrow Health Authority on 9th March 1995 trust property formerly held by the Kensington Chelsea and Westminster Health Authority. A copy of the schedule of trust property to which the Order refers can be obtained from the Department of Health, NHS Trust Unit, Room 1W29, Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7UE.
