The Disability Working Allowance and Income Support (General) Amendment Regulations 1995

Laid before Parliament

Coming into force—

for the purposes of regulations 1, 3 and 4, on 11th April 1995;

for the purposes of regulations 2 and 5 to 20 on 13th April 1995

The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 124(1)(d)(i) and (3), 129(2B)(b) and (c)1 and (8), 135(1), 137(1) and 175(1), (3) and (4) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 19922, section 12(1) of the Social Security (Incapacity for Work) Act 19943 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after agreement by the Social Security Advisory Committee that proposals in respect of regulations 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 15, 17 and 19(5) should not be referred to it4, by this instrument which is otherwise made before the end of the period of 6 months beginning with the coming into force of the enactments under which it is made5, hereby makes the following Regulations:
