The Child Support (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 1996, Section 25 is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 09 November 2024. 25.—(1) The provisions of regulation 33 of the Maintenance Assessment Procedure Regulations in force prior to 5th August 1996 shall continue to apply to any application made prior to that date.
(2) The provisions of regulation 35 of the Maintenance Assessment Procedure Regulations in force prior to 7th October 1996 shall continue to apply to any case where the failure to comply referred to in paragraph (1) of that regulation arose prior to that date.
(3) The provisions of regulation 36 of the Maintenance Assessment Procedure Regulations in force prior to 7th October 1996 shall [F1apply with the amendments made by regulation 5(6) of the Social Security and Child Support (Jobseeker’s Allowance) (Consequential Amendments) Regulations 1996] to a parent in respect of whom a reduced benefit direction was given prior to that date.
(4) The provisions of regulation 47 of the Maintenance Assessment Procedure Regulations in force prior to 7th October 1996 shall [F2apply with the amendments made by regulation 5(11) of the Social Security and Child Support (Jobseeker’s Allowance) (Consequential Amendments) Regulations 1996] to any reduced benefit direction made prior to that date, and in relation to an earlier direction referred to in paragraph (4) of that regulation, which was in force prior to that date, whether or not the further direction referred to in that paragraph was made after that date.
(5) The provisions of regulation 19 of the Maintenance Assessments and Special Cases Regulations in force prior to 7th October 1996 shall continue to apply to any application made prior to that date [F3and a decision with respect to a maintenance assessment in force on that date shall not be superseded by a decision under section 17 of the Child Support Act 1991 solely to give effect to the provisions of regulation 19 as amended by regulation 23.]
