6.—(1) In order to be regarded as available for employment, a person must be willing and able to take up employment of at least 40 hours per week, unless he has restricted his availability in accordance with paragraph [F1(3), (3A) or (4)] of regulation [F213, regulation 13A or] paragraph (2) of regulation 17 or two or more of those provisions.
(2) In order to be regarded as available for employment, a person must be willing and able to take up employment of less than 40 hours per week but not for a greater number of hours per week than the number for which he is available in accordance with paragraph [F1(3), (3A) or (4)] of regulation [F213, regulation 13A or] paragraph (2) of regulation 17 or two or more of those provisions.
