Deductions in respect of earnings80

The deduction in respect of earnings which falls to be made in accordance with section 4(1)(b) from the amount which, apart from this regulation, would be payable by way of a contribution-based jobseeker’s allowance for any F1benefit week is an amount equal to the weekly amount of the claimant’s earnings calculated in accordance with Part VIII (income and capital).

For the avoidance of doubt, in calculating the amount of earnings for the purposes of this regulation, only the claimant’s earnings shall be taken into account.
