The Jobseekers Act 1995 (Commencement No. 4) Order 1996

The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 41(2) and (3) of the Jobseekers Act 19951 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation1
This Order may be cited as the Jobseekers Act 1995 (Commencement No. 4) Order 1996.
Appointed Day2
The day appointed for the coming into force —
a
of paragraphs 2, 12 and 14 of Schedule 2 to the Jobseekers Act 1995, and section 41(4) of that Act in so far as it relates to those paragraphs, is 2nd September 1996;
b
of all other provisions of the Jobseekers Act 1995 in so far as not already in force, is 7th October 1996.
