The Social Security and Child Support (Jobseeker’s Allowance) (Transitional Provisions) (Amendment) Regulations 1996

The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of powers conferred by sections 35(1), 36(2) to (5) and 40 of the Jobseekers Act 19951 and section 51 of the Child Support Act 19912 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after agreement by the Social Security Advisory Committee that proposals in respect of regulation 2 should not be referred to it3 hereby makes the following Regulations:
