1. These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Jobseeker’s Allowance and Payments on Account) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 1996 and shall come into force on 7th October 1996, immediately following the coming into force of the Jobseeker’s Allowance (Transitional Provisions) (Amendment) Regulations 1996(1) and the Social Security and Child Support (Jobseeker’s Allowance) (Consequential Amendments) Regulations 1996(2).
