Contravention of regulations 8, 9 and 1012.
(1)
Subject to paragraph (2) below, any contravention of a requirement of regulation 8, 9 or 10 shall be treated for all purposes as though it were a contravention of a requirement of safety regulations made under section 11 of the Consumer Protection Act 198737.
(2)
The term of imprisonment to which a person guilty of an offence of contravening any requirement of regulation 8, 9 or 10 shall be liable on summary conviction shall not exceed three months.
