Amendments to regulation 4 (type approval requirements—application)

6.—(1) Regulation 4 shall be amended as follows—

(a) in paragraph (1), for the words “Subject to paragraphs (2), (2A), (3), (4), (5) and (6)” there shall be substituted the words “Subject to paragraphs (2) to (6), regulation 3A” and

(b) after paragraph (12), there shall be inserted the following paragraph—

“(13) In this regulation “prescribed” means prescribed under section 63(1) of the Road Traffic 1988.”
