Subject to paragraph (2) below, for the purposes of Article 3(1)(d) of Commission Regulation 658/96, the minimum size of a cultivated plot for which an arable compensatory payment may be made shall be 0.10 hectare.

In the case of land used for seed production or for research, the minimum size of a cultivated plot for which an arable compensatory payment may be made shall be 0.01 hectare.
