2.  In this Order, “landfill gas generating stations” means generating stations which are fuelled wholly by gas derived from landfill sites on which, at any time before 22nd July 1993, activities were carried on in pursuance of a licence issued under section 5 of the Control of Pollution Act 1974(1) or in accordance with conditions specified in a resolution passed by the relevant disposal authority pursuant to section 11(3)(e) of that Act.
