Regulation 2

SCHEDULEAMENDMENTS TO THE FORM ENTITLED

OWNER-OCCUPIER'S AND TENANT'S APPLICATIONS FORHOUSING RENEWAL GRANTS

1.  For question 2B.1, substitute—

2.  At the beginning of Part 3, for the italicised text preceding question 3.1, substitute—

3.  After question 3.1., insert—

4.  In question 3.21, for “question 3.15”, substitute “question 3.20.”.

5.  In question 3.29, insert in the appropriate place—

6.  For questions 3.37 and 3.38, substitute—

7.  In question 3.39(c), for “Note 92”, substitute “Note 95”.

8.  After question 3.40, for the Declaration, substitute—

9.  In note 3, for paragraph (3)(e)(ii), substitute—

(ii)is a refugee, i.e., a person recorded by the Secretary of State as a refugee within the definition in Article 1 of the Convention relating to the Status of Refugees(1)..

10.  In note 45(b), for “two-thirds”, substitute “three-quarters”.

11.  After note 47, insert—

47A.  “Child” and “young person” are defined by regulation 2(1) of the Housing Renewal Grants Regulations (S.I. 1996/2890) as follows:

  • “child”: a person under the age of 16;

  • “young person”: a person, other than someone who is in receipt of income support or is receiving advanced education (defined in the Income Support (General) Regulations 1987 (S.I. 1987/1967)), aged 16 or over but under 19 who is treated as a child for the purposes of section 142 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992..
