Explanatory Note

This Order, made under the United Nations Act 1946, imposes in the Channel Islands restrictions pursuant to a decision of the Security Council of the United Nations in Resolution No. 1160 of 31st March 1998 on the export to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the supply to persons in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia of arms and related material. It restricts certain related activities including the carriage of prohibited goods in ships, aircraft and vehicles.
