Coming into force
Having consulted in accordance with section 32(5) of the Justices of the Peace Act 19971, the Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 32(3) and (8) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Magistrates' Courts Committees (Merseyside) Amalgamation (Amendment) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 1st June 1998.

In paragraph 1 of the Schedule to the Magistrates' Courts Committees (Merseyside) Amalgamation Order 19982:—
a
in the fefinition of “the first appointed day”, for “June” there shall be substituted “July”;
b
in the definition of “the second appointed day”, for “July” there shall be substiuted “August”.
