The Social Security (Claims and Payments) Amendment Regulations 1998

The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 5(1)(nn) and 189(4) to (6) of the Social Security Administration Act 19921, and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, by this instrument, which contains only regulations made by virtue of section 83 of, and paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to, the Social Security Act 19982 and which is made before the end of the period of six months beginning with the coming into force of that enactment3, hereby makes the following Regulations:
