The Merchant Shipping (Small Workboats and Pilot Boats) Regulations 1998

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, after consulting the persons referred to in section 86(4) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995(1), in exercise of the powers conferred by—

(i)

sections 85(1)(a) and (b), (3), (5) to (7), and 86(1) of the said Act(2); and

(ii)

section 302(1) of the said Act,

and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, with the consent of the Treasury in so far as the Regulations are made under the said section 302(1), hereby makes the following Regulations:
